What’s the Plan?
I've been given a second chance at my life so I believe my calling is to give something back to those less fortunate than me. Too many people close to me, that I love, care for or know have been affected by cancer recently and watching the pain and suffering in everyone has ignited a spark in me to try and make a small difference in the only way I can. Therefore, I'm going to climb 25 peaks in 2025.
All sponsorship and donations received 100% will be donated to Cancer Research!
But wait! There’s more! Each hike will be documented, so you can join me virtually on this incredibly tough adventure. From the breathtaking views to the inevitable hilarity of my hiking misadventures, I’ll be sharing it all. You can expect plenty of updates, photos, blogs, that will hopefully inspire you to hit the trails, too!
What Peaks am I climbing?
The peaks I will be climbing in 2025 will be in no particular order:
Tryfan (Snowdonia) - 1 Peak - completed 22/02/2025
Scafell Pike (Lake District) - 1 Peak - completed 08/03/2025
Helvellyn (Lake District) - 1 Peak
Catbells (Lake District) - 1 Peak
Crag Hill (Lake District)- 1 Peak
Haystacks (Lake District) - 1 Peak
Brecon Beacons Horseshoe (Bannau Brycheiniog) - 4 Peaks Corn Du, Pen Y Fan, Cribyn and Fan Y Big in one day
Welsh 3 Peaks Snowdon, Cadair Idris, Pen Y Fan - in one day
The Fan Dance (Bannau Brycheiniog) - Corn Du & Pen Y Fan - 2 peaks climbed twice in one day
Malvern Hills, North Hill, Table Hill, Sugarloaf Hill, Worcester Beacon, Summer Hill, Perseverance Hill, Jubilee Hill, Pinnacle Hill, Black Hill & British Camp - 10 Peaks in one day
This list is the challenge I have set myself to complete for charity, some of these peaks I have never completed before. I will still continue to do my weekly routines and training when not doing this challenge, and climbing other hills, mountains and viewing waterfalls during my downtime.
How Can You Help?
I would love your support on this journey! Here’s how you can get involved:
Donate here: If you’re able to contribute financially, every pound counts! Your entire donation including gift aid, will go directly to cancer research.
Skills to Share?: Not everyone can donate money, and that’s totally okay! If you have skills in social media, video editing, photography, blogging, I’d love to collaborate! Together, we can create engaging content that spreads awareness and inspires others to support cancer research. Plus, you’ll get to be part of an exciting adventure!
Gear Donations: If you have camera equipment gathering dust or outdoor gear or a camper van that you’re willing to lend, let’s talk! Documenting this journey is essential, and having the right tools will help capture every thrilling moment.
Volunteer Your Time: If you have spare time to assist me then I'd be welcome for it. Reach out and contact me
